Crema's Take
“This roadside gem surprises visitors with genuinely quality food and coffee at reasonable prices, from crispy breakfast pastries like their maple cider donut pie to made-to-order sandwiches and pizza. Located conveniently off Route 1 near Water Country with ample parking and a full dine-in area, it punches well above what you'd expect from a gas station cafe, earning consistent praise for both their traditional espresso drinks and their ability to handle large catering orders without compromising quality.”

Quality and prices are really good. Wasn't expecting for a roadside store but I was surprised I tried Iced Latte, Veggie Pizza and maple cider donut pie All taste great, and quality felt very good. Recommended anyway over Dunkin, Starbucks or Tacos of the world
We placed a catering order with The Common Man Roadside - Portsmouth for their Fiesta package for 30 people. The quality and quantity of the food was exceptional. We have plenty of leftovers and no one went hungry today or will go hungry tomorrow in the office! The service was amazing as well. The delivery associate was fast, courtesy, extremely friendly, prompt and professional. We will definitely use them again. Thank you to all who worked on our order today!
Stopped for gas on way back to office. I always loved the restaurant, so I thought I'd try the Roadside version at Irving across from Water Country in Portsmouth. I got the Chicken sandwich with Lettuce, tomatoes and pickles on a brioche bun. With a little mustard, salt and pepper added, it was great. The one thing I would suggest is to make sure to take lots of napkins as the ones from the dispenser are very, very thin. The food is so juicy you need extras!
The food is mid but the prices are not. I had the burger pictured. It was fine, but not for the price being charged. The location is inconvenient, so good luck taking a left out of the parking lot. All in all, it's fine. Just a shame it's so expensive. I'm fine eating diner food, but these ain't diner prices.
Impressive roadside store. Large variety of foods made to order or prepared. Large selection of bakery 🧁 items including cookies 🍪. The convenience store has a beer 🍺 cave. There is a dine in area as well. Friendly service. Touchless payment option available. The grilled beef hot dog 🌭 was good 👍. I had a coffee ☕ and a chocolate croissant 🥐 and both were okay. The croissant was served cold and it was a little messy with all of the chocolate. The spacious dining area has a fireplace. Irving is the fuel ⛽ station. I am very interested in returning and trying something different. My name 📛 is not Stephanie!
